London - Astronomers have revealed the answer to a question that even Pink Floyd did not answer in their best-selling 1973 album — the colour of The Dark Side Of The Moon.

Now we know it is turquoise, after scientists placed a telescope and camera at an observatory in Hawaii over a two-year period.

The dark side is lit by light reflected up from Earth which becomes blue-green, according to the study published in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics. - Daily Mail
