Donald Trump has accused Facebook’s boss of making it too easy for immigrants to work in America.

Trump, who wants to become US President, said he hoped to force American technology firms to recruit at home instead of ‘flying cheaper workers in from overseas’.

He launched an attack on Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg claiming the social media boss was trying to push through new rules that would make it even harder for Americans to compete for jobs.

And in a somewhat surprising move, Trump – who has been accused of sexism on numerous occasions – claimed that the new legislation to give out more visas to highly-skilled foreign workers would also make things more difficult for women.

Trump, who hopes to win the Republican presidential nomination, said: ‘Mark Zuckerberg’s personal Senator, Marco Rubio, has a bill to triple H-1Bs [visas for highly-skilled foreign workers] that would decimate women and minorities.’ He argued the visas should only be given to workers above a certain pay grade, so that lower-level jobs can be filled at home. – Daily Mail
