Apple Music now available on Android

Apple’s Music service is now available for Android devices.

First released for Apple devices in June, the new music app can be downloaded for most Android devices. This includes Android users in South Africa which was included on the initial rollout.

Apple Music can be downloaded from the Google Play store and includes a three-month free trial period.

The app requires devices running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher.

Apple Music costs R59,99 per month for individual users. A family plan, which allows up to six family members to use the service, costs R89,99 a month.
