Lausanne - Newly-elected International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach officially moved into his new offices in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Tuesday.

The 59-year-old German met different heads of department at a morning meeting at IOC headquarters at the Chateau de Vidy, before having a face-to-face briefing with his predecessor Jacques Rogge on ongoing issues.

There is an official handover ceremony planned at the Olympic Museum on December 10.

Before then, Bach will make his first sortie as IOC president on September 29 to Olympia in Greece for the lighting of the Olympic flame for next year's Winter Games in Sochi.
