Bafana Bafana head coach Carlos Queiroz has shown that he will not be taking any prisoners and for that matter Congo lightly when the countries clash in Sunday's final African Nations Cup Group 2 qualifier at the Absa stadium.

Queiroz has added his two "A" team wingers, Sibusiso Zuma and Delron Buckley plus Manning Rangers captain and midfield playmaker Sipho Nzuzo and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi into his 20-man squad to meet Congo which shows four changes from the squad that drew 1-1 against Liberia in Monrovia last Sunday.

"Although we have qualified for the finals in Mali next year, I'm still not prepared to take it easy. To me this is still a very important international fixture. I want to win the group and keep our unbeaten record in the qualifiers intact," said Queiroz.

The 1-1 draw in Monrovia also meant that Liberia have also qualified for the continental showpiece in land locked Mali.

The four players who have been left out are Wits 'keeper Rowen Fernandez, Moroka Swallows defender Gary McNab, Locomotiv Moscow wing back Jacob Lekgetho and Denmark based striker Bradley August.

Options

FC Copenhagen's Zuma and Buckley who plys his trade in Germany with Vfl Bochum's will give Queiroz more attacking options against a Congo side which Bafana beat 2-1 in the Pointe Noire cabbage patch last year in the first round.

Queiroz added: "Both Buckley and Zuma come form the Durban area and as they are both available I decided it would be a nice gesture for the public to see them in action in their home town."

Queiroz explained why Lekgetho, who had an outstanding game at left back against Liberia, was left out of the squad: "Lekgetho is needed by his Russian club so I agreed to excuse him for this match as we have cover in his position."

The so called B team has done remarkably well.
