Sri Lanka included Dinesh Chandimal in the only change to its XI, replacing batsman Jeevan Mendis, who sustained a hamstring injury in training Tuesday. Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara is playing his 400th ODI.
Bangladesh fielded an unchanged lineup to the one that beat Afghanistan in their opening game.
