Pallekele - Kumar Sangakkara's 112 in the last innings in his home ground and four wickets from fast bowler Suranga Lakmal set up an emphatic 90-run win for Sri Lanka in the sixth one-day game against England and an unassailable lead in the series.

Sri Lanka leads the seven-match series 4-2 with one match to be played.

Electing to bat first, Sri Lanka rode Sangakkara's run-a-ball century and a 153-run partnership between him and Tillakaratne Dilshan (68), to reach 292-7 in 50 overs.

England faltered in their chase early and never recovered to be dismissed for 202 in 41. 3 overs.

Lakmal, on his return to international cricket after an injury layoff, took 4-30 while spinner Sachithra Senanayake returned 3-33.
