Xolisa Guma from KwaZulu-Natal has been named the Coca-Cola Hero of the day for day 2 of the U18 Coca-Cola Craven Week.

The prestigious Coca-Cola Hero of the Day award is presented on each day of the tournament in recognition of a game changing ‘hero’ moment.

Xolisa was selected for the award by a Coca-Cola appointed panel of rugby experts after he scored a match winning try during the last play of the game in his match against the Lions. Xolisa received the ball just inside the Lions half and stepped past his opposing number and the Lions fullback to score to win the game 18-16.

"Winning the Coca-Cola Hero of the day was a humbling experience, I had a lot of opportunities during the game and I did not take advantage of them but when this opportunity came I backed myself ran for the corner,' said Xolisa
