Lions make two changes for Blues game

Johannesburg – Lions head coach Johan Ackermann opted for consistency, making two changes to the starting line-up against the Blues for their Super Rugby encounter in Auckland.

In the Lions' first tour game of the campaign, Corne Fourie will make his first start at loosehead this season. While, in the backline, Ross Cronje will start at scrumhalf.

Kick-off is at 8.35am South Africa time.

Lions: Andries Coetzee, Ruan Combrinck, Lionel Mapoe, Harold Vorster, Sampie Mastriet, Elton Jantjies, Ross Cronje, Warren Whiteley (captain), Warwick Tecklenburg, Jaco Kriel, Martin Muller, Franco Mostert, Julian Redelinghuys, Robbie Coetzee, Corne Fourie.

Replacements: Armand van der Merwe, Jacques van Rooyen, Ruan Dreyer, Robert Kruger, Derick Minnie, Faf de Klerk, Jaco van der Walt, Howard Mnisi. – Sapa
