Pollard, Potgieter to resume training

Johannesburg – Blue Bulls flyhalves Handre Pollard and Jacques-Louis Potgieter will return to training as the team prepares for their final Currie Cup match at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

The pair sat out training on Monday and would now be available for selection for the final pool match against GWK Griquas.

Rudy Paige (hip flexor muscle), Dean Greyling (calf), Jono Ross (ankle), Callie Visagie (back muscle) and Deon Stegmann (contusion) also sat out Monday's session, team doctor Org Strauss confirmed.

They would all be back on the field on Tuesday and be available for selection.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Visser (foot), Pierre Spies (bicep), Arno Botha (knee), Frik Kirsten (neck), Jaco Visagie (knee), Flip van der Merwe (knee) and Hencus van Wyk (leg) were still on the long-term injury list and out for the season. – Sapa
