Johannesburg – South Africa's national rugby and soccer teams will feature in a double-header to celebrate the legacy of former president Nelson Mandela, the Sports Ministry confirmed on Wednesday.
The Nelson Mandela Sports Day includes a series of festivities including a music concert at the FNB Stadium on August 17.
The Springboks will play against Argentina, a match originally scheduled for Bloemfontein, and Bafana Bafana will take on Burkino Faso.
The matches will be preceded by a curtain raiser between Italian and South African Football Masters. – Sapa
