Johannesburg – Bafana Bafana took the half-time break during their Afcon quarter-final match against Mali with a 1-0 lead.

The goal came courtesy of Tokelo Rantie in the 31st minute – a tap-in from a Thuso Phala pass.

Rantie was later forced to leave the field after aggravating an ankle injury. He was replaced by Lehlohonolo Majoro

Earlier on Saturday, Ghana beat Cape Verde Islands to be the first team to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
