Johannesburg – After Orlando Pirate's 3-1 victory over TP Mazembe FC in their African Champions league clash at Orlando Stadium on Saturday night, a TP Mazembe official reportedly punched Swazi referee Smanga Nhleko.

SABC journalist Velile Mbuli posted on social media platform Twitter after the match, “The referee for today's game here at @OrlandoStadium has allegedly been floored by a vicious punch from a @tpmazembe official.”

He tweeted again six minutes later, stating police were handling the matter, including a picture of police in what appeared the confines of Orlando Stadium.

His next post 45 minutes later said police were waiting for the official to get off the bus, with a picture attached to the post apparently showing a group of police waiting by a bus, reportedly for the official. – Sapa
