DORTMUND, Germany – Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund would allow Robert Lewandowski a summer move abroad but will not wait forever for offers, managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke told Tuesday edition of the local Ruhr-Nachrichten paper.

Watzke and sports director Michael Zorc were earlier quoted as saying that Dortmund would neither let Lewandowski go to triple winners Bayern Munich or abroad and that he must fulfil his contract until 2014.

Watzke clarified towards the Ruhr-Nachrichten that “the facts have not changed. But the window won't be open long for interested parties. It is correct that we need to plan ahead.”

According to Watzke, Lewandowski has said he only wants to leave for Munich. Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea are reportedly interested in the Polish forward. – Sapa-dpa
