Nishikori moves up in latest rankings

Berling – Novak Djokovic retained a big lead while Kei Nishikori moved up a place to sixth in the ATP men's tennis rankings, a day after winning the Japan Open.

US Open finalist Nishikori won his second ATP title in as many weeks by beating Milos Raonic for the second time in three years in the Japan Open trophy match, 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 6-4.

Djokovic remains on 12,150 points to stay well ahead of Rafael Nadal (8,455) and Roger Federer (8,170).

Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic slips to seventh behind Nishikori.
