In the powerful image the tennis star flaunts her impressive six-pack and well-muscled legs in a cut-out black leotard.
It comes just a month after her Wimbledon victory – her 21st Grand Slam title – saw the 33-year-old facing abuse over her physique.
Posting the picture on Instagram, New York Magazine wrote: “@serenawilliams looks absolutely incredible in these #NormanJeanRoy photos from our cover story!
