Washington - Fans in the United States kept up their spirited support for the US team after its 2-2 draw with Portugal in Manaus, Brazil. “The world said Ghana & Portugal would eat us alive & THEY DIDN'T. Bring on Germany and we'll show 'em again,” tweeted Ther-Mom-apist on The American Outlaws (AO) football fans Twitter feed. Fans erupted in chants of “USA USA” with each of the two US goals as they gathered in venues including under the Manhattan Bridge in New York, and at Grant Park in Chicago.

“Keep your heads up boys and keep your heads up AO! We still have this! I STILL BELIEVE,” tweeted Ryan Penny.
