Durban - President Jacob Zuma’s son Duduzane and Shanice Stork from Durban celebrated their nuptials at a glittering private reception at Fairmont Hotel, Zimbali, on Saturday. The wedding ceremony took place in Newlands East.

Politicians, celebrities and the business elite descended on Ballito to witness Zuma’s special day. President Zuma attended wearing a grey suit and powder-blue shirt, accompanied by his brother, Michael.

Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba’s spokesman, Mayihlome Tshwete, and his fiancée, TV presenter Zizo Beda, along with stand-up comedian Mpho Pops were among the guests, as were Zuma family members Khulubuse and Deebo Mzobe.

The bride wore a flowing white gown designed by Gavin Rajah, while the groom wore a suit and black bowtie.

Guests sat on white sofas and were served wine and cocktails. Two large buffet tables were on display at both sides of the venue.

The after-party was held under a huge white marquee overlooking the ocean.

Meanwhile, former Miss South Africa Tatum Keshwar, who was rumoured to be in a relationship with the groom, took to Twitter to clarify that she was not Duduzane’s bride.

“Wish the media got their story straight. I am not getting married today – thank God”.
