Anjelica Huston is being sued by a man who claims he was assaulted by her bodyguards.

William Bacardi alleges he was beaten up by two men who were working as part of The Witches actress' security team on September 7, 2008, in Venice, California.

In court papers obtained by RadarOnline.com, Bacardi says he was leaving the Townhouse bar - which is located opposite an art studio and condo unit owned by Huston - in the early hours of the morning when he was approached by the men and asked to leave.

The lawsuit filed at Los Angeles Superior Court states: "They demanded that the plaintiff 'leave or we will remove you.' Plaintiff attempted to explain he was on a public sidewalk and was going to leave as soon as the rest of his party came outside."

Bacardi then claims one of the men pulled out a nightstick - a type of baton - and "pushed him face first into a security gate in front of one of the local businesses using his baton as a bar behind his neck".

Someone eventually interrupted the trio and broke up the incident but as Bacardi was walking away he claims one of the men hit him from behind and knocked him to the ground.

As he got up he alleges he was sprayed in the face with Mace.

Bacardi is suing Huston, 59, the two bodyguards, the company that employs them and the Townhouse bar for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

It is not known what amount in damages he is demanding.
