Emily Blunt, 31, was stage bombed by her husband at the Critics Choice Movie Awards.
The actress shared a smooch with John Krasinski after he ran from backstage to surprise her as she picked up her Best Actress in an Action Movie prize for her role as Sergeant Rita Vrataski in Edge of Tomorrow.
After it was announced Emily had won, John shouted “yes” before running up to her and giving her a big kiss.
Emily thanked him for putting up with her during filming for the role, in which her character helped to train Tom Cruise’s alter-ego, Major William Cage, to improve his fighting skills, and joked she had tried some of Rita’s moves out on him: “Finally, to my sneaky husband, John, for being okay with the fact that he was married to a veiny, sinewy wrestler for the duration of this film, and also coming up with my favourite line ever which was: ‘I’m terrified I’m gonna wake up one morning and you’re benching me’. Which I did, just to kind of freak him out.” - BANG Showbiz
