London - Beyonce's father Matthew Knowles has been described as a "deadbeat dad" by the mother of his three-year-old son.
Matthew - who helped his daughter become famous with the girl band Destiny's Child - reportedly owes $24 000 in child support to his former lover Alexsandra Wright.
According to California State records obtained by TMZ, Matthew missed two $12 000 monthly payments and has been ordered to pay up for his son Nixon.
Sources close to Alexsandra say she's in a financial trouble and has even had to pull her son from school because she can't afford to pay for it.
In 2009, Beyonce's mother Tina filed for divorce from Matthew after he reportedly had an affair with Alexsandra, who fell pregnant and requested a paternity test.
Beyonce, 32, and sister Solange, 27, didn't attend their father's wedding when he re-married in June this year.
He tied the knot with former model Gena Charmaine Avery in Houston, Texas.
Matthew, 62, was engaged to 48-year-old Avery for a year and a half.
Matthew was formerly Beyonce's manager but they parted company in 2011.
Although their professional relationship ended the R&B superstar has always been adamant they are close as father and daughter.
