Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has reportedly bagged a role in Fast and Furious 7.
After Chennai Express, many predicted that the actress would be going places, but we didn’t expect it to be this quick.
Apparently Kangana Ranaut and Chitrangda Singh were also screen-tested for the seventh instalment of the Fast and Furious series, but Padukone was chosen for the role.
Rumour has it that she will play a significant part in the fast-paced Vin Diesel action flick. It stars Hollywood stars Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson. The film will hit theatres next year.
Padukone is shooting for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year in Dubai along with Shahrukh Khan.
It is said that the paperwork for Padukone to sign up for Fast and Furious is in process.
It is a big leap for the actress who began her acting career in a Kannada film titled Aishwarya. – Oneindia.in
