Boy George thinks Bruce Jenner is “very brave” for undergoing a gender transition.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star is reportedly having gender reassignment surgery and the 'Karma Chameleon' hitmaker says he is “quite emotional” about Bruce's decision.

He said: “I absolutely applaud what he's doing and I think it's very brave. And it actually makes me quite emotional.

“He has my 150 percent support in every way. I think that the whole transgender thing is the new frontier.”

The 53-year-old singer - real name: George Alan O'Dowd - also believes the 65-year-old former Olympian's appearance on the E! reality show has helped people to accept Bruce's choice to become a woman.

He told People magazine: “You see people on TV and you feel like you have a relationship with them because they're in your house, they're in your living room every day, and you feel close to them.

“I think maybe in that respect, people have been able to get know him and get to know the family.”

Meanwhile, Boy George recently revealed he has joined forces with Bunim/Murray Production, the team behind the Kardashians' show, to create his own reality programme, which will document his move from London to Los Angeles.
