THEY are already veterans of Twitter, selfies and even so-called photobombs.

Now the Royal Family are posting their personal snaps on social media.

Keen photographer Prince Andrew last night put up a shot of his mother, the Queen, posing with his brother and sister-in-law, Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, on his Facebook page.

Andrew took the picture in the monarch’s private apartments at Buckingham Palace shortly before the family joined a reception for charities supported by the Wessexes to mark their 50th birthdays.

The room appears to be filled with family photographs and paintings featuring horses.

In a caption, Andrew – who signs his personal messages and tweets with AY – wrote: “A family photo before we join the guests at my brother and sister-in-law’s joint 50th Birthday Reception at Buckingham Palace, to recognise the important work with their many organisations – AY.”

By Tuesdaynight the picture had been ‘liked’ 2 349 times.
