SHE has already proved herself adept at ‘consciously uncoupling’.

And it seems Gwyneth Paltrow is just as good at re-coupling.

Little over a year after splitting from her husband of ten years, rocker Chris Martin, 38, the star appears to have found a new leading man. The 42-year-old attended a Hollywood bash at the weekend with US TV producer Brad Falchuk by her side.

Her companion, 44, who co-created musical comedy Glee, tenderly placed his hand on her back as the couple arrived at Robert Downey Jnr’s 50th birthday party in Los Angeles. He looked dapper in a suit while the mother-of-two wore a black jumpsuit which showed off her toned arms.

Miss Paltrow is thought to have met Falchuk when she appeared on Glee in 2010. The Iron Man star became friends with the producer – who is worth £13.3 million – and the pair have reportedly been dating since last summer, but had not been pictured together in public until Saturday.

Their first public appearance together came just days after Miss Paltrow returned from a holiday in Mexico with estranged husband Martin – who has an estimated fortune of £100 million. Their split was announced on Miss Paltrow’s blog Goop in March last year when she coined the phrase ‘consciously uncoupling’ to describe the break-up.

They said they wanted to remain close for the sake of children, Apple, ten, and Moses, eight. Neither has filed for divorce, but Coldplay frontman Martin has since been dating 24-year-old actress Jennifer Lawrence.

Falchuk was also married for ten years to Suzanne Bukinik but the pair, who have two children, filed for divorce in 2013.
