London - LeAnn Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian want to star in a sitcom based on their own lives.

The couple - who met on the set of TV movie 'Northern Lights' when both were married to other people - have reportedly been pitching a comedy to TV networks.

A source said: "They've met with a few networks. Nothing is finalised yet, but they're seeing where the show could go.

"They have been shopping around a scripted comedy loosely based on their lives together. They would play versions of themselves, kind of like 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'. They've met with a few networks. Nothing is finalised yet, they're seeing where the should could go."

The comedy is also taking inspiration from LeAnn's bitter feud with Eddie's ex-wife Brandi Glanville, with the source adding: "The show will have a crazy ex-wife."

However, they are keen to keep Eddie and Brandi's children Mason, nine, and six-year-old Jake out of it.

The insider added to Us Weekly magazine: "Mason and Jake are not involved. If kids end up being on it, they would be played by actors - not Eddie's kids." - Bang Showbiz
