Kim Kardashian West won’t let her daughter feature on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The 34-year-old reality TV star and rapper husband Kanye West have refused to let 18-month-old North be filmed for the E! reality show, despite the family recently signing a rumoured $100 million (R1.2 billion) deal to complete four more years of the programme.
A source said: “It was a no-go from the very beginning because Kim and Kanye made it clear North wasn’t up for discussion. They want North to have some privacy and be able to be a child away from the cameras.”
The insider said that the couple’s child may still appear in certain group scenes, but the pair declined significant financial offers from the TV network to include North in the show.
The source said: “There will be times when North will be in a group setting, where it’s impossible to edit her out. She won’t be on the show on even a semi-regular basis. E! offered big money to have North included, but her parents turned it down.”
