Daniele Watts, the Django Unchained actress who claimed police arrested her for kissing her boyfriend, may actually have been engaged in a sexual act. When the cops confronted her, the actress then accused police of not knowing who she was.

In the police audio of the incident, Watts can be heard accusing the police of racism when Sgt Jim Parker asks for her ID. Watts then accuses the police of not knowing who she is, before storming off and refusing to comply.

According to the Daily Mail, the police responded to a complaint from people in the Directors Guild office building, who claimed that they were watching Watts and her boyfriend having sex in the passenger seat of their car, with the door open.

One eye-witness claimed to have seen Watts straddling her boyfriend in full view of everyone.

After Watts stormed off, she was apprehended and brought back to the car.

On the audio, obtained by gossip site TMZ, Watts continues to argue with the officer, claiming he is racist. When Sgt Parker tells her he has responded to a complaint from the nearby building, Watts says: “I bet there's at least one person up there who's a racist. I bet you. I bet you're a little bit racist.”

She refuses to tell the officer her name, instead demanding to know his.

“I think I’d like to identify you to my publicist. What’s your first name?”

She then continues with a bizarre tirade about the police.

“I guess we all have our destinies... I serve freedom and love. You guys serve detainment. That's cool.

“I hope you feel free... I hope when you're f***ing your spouses you really feel alive. That you feel thankful, full of gratitude for the freedom that you have, that you share with the people of this country.”

Meanwhile, Watts’ boyfriend Brian Lucas took out his cellphone and filmed his girlfriend crying and handcuffed. He claims police questioned him and asked him if he really knew her – apparently insinuating that Watts was a prostitute.

According to Watts, they were only kissing. She was fully dressed when police arrived on the scene. Lucas apparently handed over his ID to the cops, but Watts refused and explained her reasons for doing so in an interview with Buzzfeed.

“I didn't have the stomach for someone on a power trip when I knew I hadn't done anything wrong,” she said.

Lucas claims the questions he was asked troubled him.

“How do you know her, what relationship, they were questions that quite frankly made me feel like that they were questioning me being like the client of a prostitute,” he said. “He didn't say anything ever about that, I just felt that energy from it.”

The LAPD claim two officers where dispatched to the scene because of a complaint about indecent exposure.

“Upon further investigation it was determined that no crime had been committed. Ms Watts and her companion were subsequently released.” - Tonight Reporter
