This one is for the lovers who are celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Bassline brings you the Evening of Love concert with Moneoa and Vusi Nova.
Moneoa first came to our attention on Shuasmakx’s hit track Take It Easy. She then released her own critically acclaimed album.
The magic that is in her voice allows Moneoa to sing just about anything. So from the hip hop she has done with other local rappers to the R&B she does on her own projects, there is no limit to what Moneoa can do. This makes her
the ideal candidate for a Valentine’s Day show.
Then comes the man of the hour, Vusi Nova, who is what Donald was last year. The only thing that separates them is Nova has that old Marvin Gaye soul sound that comes across in his music.
Coming seemingly out of nowhere, the singer hit the music scene by storm and has had a successful run on local radio. With the forthcoming Metro FM Music Awards already looking at him with interest, it seems obvious
the rest of the awards season will follow suit.
Nova and Moneoa are a perfect match to do duets and if we are lucky we might even get heartfelt classics like The Closer I Get to You or I Am Your Angel.
