Kermit the Frog wants Britain's Prince George and Princess Charlotte to appear on 'The Muppets'.

The Muppets character is keen for the children of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to have a starring role in the television series but insists he wouldn't let Gonzo babysit the pair.

Kermit is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "Who wouldn't want them on their show? Heck, we'd be happy to just have them come over and visit us ... and I promise we won't let Gonzo babysit."

Meanwhile, Prince William recently revealed his two-year-old son is very "lively" whilst his five-month-old daughter is "ladylike".

Professor Christopher Dobson shared of his meeting with the 33-year-old royal: "We talked a little bit about the children and he did make a couple of comments about their different temperaments. [He said Charlotte is a] little joy of heaven and ladylike. He said they were both delightful of course."

And it is unlikely Princess Charlotte would be wearing a dress on the show as Duchess Kate is said to be waiting for her daughter to be able to walk before letting her put on a gown.

The royal's favourite children's wear designer, Rachel Riley, shared: "Because they're a traditional family, I'm sure that she'll wear babysuits for the first year, and then only when she's walking will she then move into dresses."
