London - Kim Kardashian West felt "powerful" doing her nude photoshoot.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who posed fully nude for Paper magazine - is reportedly feeling "beautiful" following the shoot, which she did for free.

A source said: "It was mostly Kim’s idea [to do the shoot]. She loves it. It makes her feel powerful.

“It makes her feel beautiful when she’s all in front of the camera naked."

The 34-year-old television personality's husband, rapper Kanye West, is believed to have been incredibly "supportive" towards Kim regarding the photoshoot.

The source added: "Kanye’s supportive of most of her ideas and he’s often telling her ‘yes, do it, go for it’ when she bounces ideas off him."

An insider has also revealed that Kim wanted to use the photoshoot to show off her post-baby body, after she gave birth to North 16 months ago.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "Kim felt vindicated because people were talking about how bad she looked when she was pregnant with North.

"A lot of mean and negative stories were written about her. She wanted to show her haters that she still has a banging body."

Her personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, recently revealed that the star's secret to maintaining a good figure is just the result of "hard work".

He previously said: "She just trains - she's one of the hardest working people inside and outside the gym.

"Just grind, grind, grind. The work Kim puts in, she knows it pays off."

Kim has said that she doesn't think she'd exist without social media.

The star believes the popularity of the show has "evolved" through the family's presence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

When asked if she would exist without social media, she said: "I don't think so... I don't think social media was that heavy when we started our show, but I think we really evolved with social media."

Kim - who has starred in the reality television show since 2007 - also admitted that her love for social media comes from her love of sharing things.

She told Paper magazine: "I love sharing my world with people. That's just who I am."

Kim - who has over 25 million followers on Twitter - also admitted that she is behind all her own tweets and questioned why other celebrities have teams who use Twitter on their behalf.

She added: "I've always just been open. I've been super-open with my life, and that's just who I am, and that's how my family is, too."

Meanwhile, Kim’s mother Kris Jenner is believed to be fuming that her daughter didn't charge Paper magazine for the "flawless" shoot.

A source revealed to HollywoodLife.com: "[Kris] loves the photo shoot. Loves it. She think it’s fabulous. The shoot itself is flawless.

"Her problem is with Kim not making a dime off it. Kim should have been paid, period."

The source went on to explain that after finding out the shoot was free, Kris confronted her daughter, reminding her of the "hard road" it took for them to reach the "status" they are at now.

She reportedly told Kim: "Do you remember what is was like before all this? When you were in Paris Hilton’s shadow? Or the hard road it took for us to be in this status we’re in? We’ve come a long way – remember that and always get the money." - BANG Showbiz
