Heather Mills claims Sir Paul McCartney only worked with Rihanna and Kanye West so people would “remember who he is”.
The 47-year-old launched a stinging attack on her ex-husband, who collaborated with the stars on FourFiveSeconds and insisted people are not interested in him because the Beatles legend isn’t relevant anymore.
After initially claiming it was “boring” to talk about Paul, whom she divorced in 2006 after four years of marriage, Heather was pressed on the matter because “people are interested”, and she replied: “They’re not (interested). That’s the thing. If I go down the street, all I get is kids coming up to me. Half of them don’t even know who he is. That’s why he’s got to do songs with Rihanna and Kanye West, so people remember (who he is).”
And despite being one of the most famous musicians in the world, Heather dismissed her ex-husband – with whom she has 11-year-old daughter Beatrice – as a normal guy who wrote “a few cool songs”.
