LONDON: She certainly has the striking cheekbones, not to mention a notoriously similar hunger for the life of excess. And now she’s got the look too.

Kate Moss transformed herself into 1970s-era David Bowie for French Vogue.

With her blonde hair styled into a distinctive mullet, the 37-year-old model is a note-perfect copy of the Aladdin Sane character Bowie created in 1973.

The record – a pun on “a lad insane” – was the follow-up to The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Bowie also adopted the look for his Ziggy Stardust tour in 1972 and 1973.

Moss has long been a fan of the singer, who turns 65 next month. In 2003, the pair appeared together on the front of Q magazine. – Daily Mail
