The Kardashian ex-wives are standing their ground on the Khloe paternity issue.
After court documents in which the late Robert Kardashian listed Khloe as his biological daughter were made public, former wife Jan Ashley claims that Robert did so to protect Khloe. The documents formed part of the divorce proceedings between Robert and Kris Jenner. Robert filed for divorce after he discovered that Jenner had cheated on him. Ashley and another ex-wife, Ellen Pierson, claim that Khloe was a product of Jenner’s affairs. They also claim that Robert Kardashian knew that Khloe wasn’t his, but treated her like his biological daughter and would not have forsaken her.
“He would never do that to Khloe,” said Ashley. “He loved her. She's always been treated the same. In fact, he treated her even better than the other kids.”
Both Ashley and Pierson say Robert confided in them that Khloe wasn’t his child. Ashley also claims that Robert constantly complained about Jenner.
“Robert was embarrassed that Kris was running around,” she said in an interview with Radar Online.
“He hated her so much. I heard it all the time.”
The Kardashian clan, however, are fighting back. Kris Jenner rubbished the claims in an interview last week, and Khloe branded the ex-wives as “disgusting” on Twitter, even though she herself had expressed doubt about who her real father is.
Now Kim Kardashian has waded into the fray, urging the media to “stop the lies”.
“We face adversity every week and as you all know, we have always tried to take the high road and continue to work hard,” said Kim on her website.
“But when the media try to manipulate things and write things that are untrue about our business ventures and our shows, it’s time to step in and correct the lies.
“As a family we work extremely hard and we are very proud of what we have achieved, and it’s disappointing to see people try to tear that down.” - IOL
