Iggy Azalea is hip hop’s sitting duck and her peers/rivals sure do love taking pot shots at her.

The latest to take aim is Erykah Badu, who threw some serious shade at the “Black Widow” rapper while hosting The Soul Train Music Awards.

During her opening skit about celebs who can join the Soul Train, the eccentric Badu answered a make-believe phone call from Azalea.

“Uh yes? Who is this? Iggy Azalea? Yeah, hey. Oh, no, no, no, no, you can come. ‘Cause what you doin’ is definitely not rap.”

The quip elicited gasps and laughter from the crowd.

Despite her success on the pop charts, Azalea has been given a tough ride by other rappers. She was involved in an ugly Twitter spat with the outspoken Azealia Banks, was accused of cultural appropriation by rap luminary Q-Tip, was the butt of a crass Snoop Dogg joke, and was humiliated on radio by former business partner TI.

And, of course, fans shared their responses on Twitter, commenting on Erykah's remark and the nostalgia sparked by the performers chosen for the show:

Others, however, were disappointed that R Kelly was included on the line-up of performers, given allegations that he is a paedophile:

Disappointed in @BET and their decision to have @rkelly on #SoulTrainAwards! The evidence was staggering, despite lack of conviction!
