Kim Kardashian West has dyed her hair platinum blonde.
The 34-year-old reality TV star, who recently had her chocolate lock chopped into a shorter do, took to her Instagram account on
Thursday to debut her new eye-catching tresses and to thank her beauty team for getting the bold colour “in one try.”
She uploaded a 'selfie', which showed off her new look, online and captioned it: “So I went platinum! I have the best team! Thank you to @joyceonelli for being my inspiration and introducing me to @GregoryRussellHair who cut my hair & put this team together! Thank you to @LorriGoddard_ who dyed my hair & got this colour in one try! Not an easy task! (sic).”
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' beauty later posted another photo of her bleached hair as she watched the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week with her husband and Kanye West, 37, mother Kris Jenner, 59, and half-sister Kendall Jenner, 18. She captioned the shot: “Blonde at Balmain.”
Meanwhile, Kim, who dyed her hair caramel blonde last year before changing it back to brunette just weeks later, recently admitted she has the “hairiest forehead” ever and has to have her fuzzy hair-line lasered to keep her baby flicks at
bay.
She said: “I have the hairiest forehead you could ever imagine, and I would always break out and get all cracky on my fore
head just from all the hair that I had. “So in high school, I would wax it off because there was just so much hair, and then I would
laser it off a little bit.”
Kim isn’t the only celebrity to get a hair make-over for the glamorous fashion week event as Jared Leto has also taken on the platinum blond look.
The 43-year-old actor has ditched his long brunette tresses for a slicked back bleached look and took to his Instagram account on Thursday to show off his new look to his adoring fans. In the photograph uploaded online,
Jared looked dapper in a blue suit and dark aviator shades as he flaunted his bold do while travelling to the Balmain show for Paris
Fashion Week in France.
The hunky star then shared another photograph of him sitting at the front row of the show, wearing fluffy
snow boots. He captioned the shot: “Yep my feet were nice and toasty. Still defrosting from Toronto. #paris (sic).”
