It’s game over for Perez Hilton, at least as far as Kim Kardashian is concerned.
Celebrity blogger Hilton had his likeness feature on the app Hollywood, a game fronted by Kardashian in which players were encouraged to create their own celebrity wanna-be and take them on the road to superstardom.
Hilton featured as a sassy character on the app, alongside the likes of Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, but his character has since gotten the chop.
The reason? Last week, Hilton launched a NoKardashiansForAWeek hashtag to accompany his site’s “Kardashian Kleanse”, the aim of which was to ignore any Kardashian related content. “Next week we'll be highlighting DAILY inspiring stories about amazing women from all around the world!” he promised.
Kim Kardashian should be used to bouts of negative publicity by now, but the reality TV star seemed to take Hilton’s snub to heart. What is it with the Kardashians and people with a Hilton surname? Former best bud turned nemesis Paris Hilton is also kind-of featured on the game, but under the name Willow Pape – and everyone apparently hates Willow Pape.
Anyway, she immediately unfollowed Perez Hilton on Twitter, then launched a poll to see if her fans wanted Hilton booted off the Hollywood app. A unanimous decision was quickly reached, and Perez got the boot. Hollywood can be so cruel.
