A controversial film clip, thought to be directed by Eli Roth, shows singer Lana Del Rey being raped. The disturbing clip, posted on YouTube by production house Sturmgruppe shows a tearful Del Rey being forced onto a bed and struggling against a sexually aggressive attacker. At one point, the unidentified man forces her face into a pillow.

The video also shows Del Rey’s bleeding face as she appears to drown. In another bizarre scene, she is captured at what might be a birthday party, with balloons bearing the word “rape” attached to her arms.

The video also features goth rocker Marilyn Manson in a few stylish, but very dark, scenes. Sturmgruppe have, in the past, produced content for Manson, but the star has strongly denied any involvement with this movie.

“Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music,” said Manson's representative Kathryn Frazier.

“It must be a fan video splicing up old Manson video footage with someone else's Lana Del Rey footage.”

However, in a 2013 interview with Larry King, Hostel director Eli Roth claimed: “I shot a video with Marilyn Manson and Lana Del Rey”. He also added that “the footage is so sick, it's been locked in a vault for over a year”.

Neither Roth nor Del Rey have commented on the video. - Tonight Reporter
