Elizabeth Hurley has thanked her fiance's children for being so "welcoming, inclusive and charming" towards her.

The model-and-actress is set to become stepmother to Shane Warne's children, Brooke, 14, Summer, nine, and 13-year-old Jackson, and is delighted with the way the trio have welcomed her into their family since she got together with their dad in 2010.

She tweeted this morning (16.05.12): "A million thanks to my three beautiful future stepchildren for being so welcoming, inclusive and charming to me and my son."

The twitter posting comes a day after the children's biological mother, Simone Callahan, warned Elizabeth to "stop playing mum" to her children, following rumours they reportedly call her "mummy two".

Simone said: "I can't control what people say, but it's just disrespectful as far as I'm concerned.

The 40-year-old ex-model met Elizabeth - who has her own son, Damian, 10, from her marriage to textile heir Arun Nayar - for the first time recently when she accompanied Shane to watch Jackson play Australian Rules Football in Melbourne, where they all sat together.

In one picture Simone appeared to make an angry face at her ex-husband, while Elizabeth looked on into the distance.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth has been spending plenty of quality time with the children, watching movies.

She tweeted yesterday (15.05.12): "Just watched Aliens in the Attic with the kids. Loved it!" - Bang Showbiz
