It’s another PR Boo-Boo for reality TV star Mama June.
In an interview with TV psychologist Dr Phil on Tuesday, Lee “Uncle Poodle” Thompson claimed he saw Mama June kissing convicted sex offender Mark McDaniel. McDaniel was released from prison in March this year, ten years after Mama June’s daughter Anna accused him of molesting her as a child.
Uncle Poodle added that, despite Mama June’s claims that images of her together with McDaniel had been photoshopped, he had seen her and McDaniel in bed together with Alana “Honey Boo-Boo” during a recent trip to North Carolina.
“She tells everyone that [she and Mark] haven't seen each other and that the photos are photo shopped,” Uncle Poodle told Dr Phil. “It's a big lie.”
Images showing Mama June rekindling her relationship with McDaniel has caused a great uproar, forcing network TLC to cancel filming of the Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo show. Mama June has vehemently denied having a relationship with McDaniel and claimed that pictures of the two of them together had been photoshopped.
Uncle Poodle, however, flew to Los Angeles after his Dr Phil interview for a polygraph test in which it was revealed that he was telling the truth.
He claims that he shared a room with June, McDaniel and Alana during a weekend trip and had seen all three in bed together, with June in the middle.
At one point, he says, June and McDaniel left the room together and when they returned, June described, in front of her child, how they had just had sex.
“It got graphic,” he said.
Uncle Poodle claims he went along on the trip to protect Alana, because he knew McDaniel was a sex offender.
“Why would you take your child in front of him knowing that he molested your child?” he said. “It ticked me off.”
Poodle further claims that he was contacted by Child Protection Services, and that he told them what he had seen and showed them photographs.
Mama June, who was also interviewed by Dr Phil claims she was ignorant of what was going on. She says she was never told what McDaniel was imprisoned for and didn’t know that he had molested her daughter. In her opinion, McDaniel has since been rehabilitated, and is no longer a child molester. - Tonight Reporter
