The Red Room will stay locked for a while because Christain Grey is in South Africa.

Jamie Dornan, star of the blockbuster erotic film Fifty Shades of Grey, is in the country to shoot his latest movie.

Dornan will play one of the leads in Jadotville, a film based on the true story of the 1961 seige of an Irish UN battalion in Congo.

The film is set to premiere on Netflix.

Dornan’’s character is Commander Patrick Quinlan, who headed the UN forces in the city of Jadotviller in the south of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Quinlan and his men fought against 3000 Congolese fighters led by Belgian and French mercinaries.

“The story of how Pat Quinlan led his troops against an overwhelming force without losing a single man is one of the great stories of the 20th century, and we are proud to be working with such a talented and committed team to bring it to life,” said Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarando.

“This film will be an amazing addition to our global original films initiative.”

Netflix is reportedly scheduled to launch in South Africa next year.
