Popular music director and actor GV Prakash Kumar’s birthday has been celebrated with style and gaiety by his newly commenced fan clubs in Chennai. A huge 10kg cake was cut by Kumar himself on June 13.
Huge garlands, a crown, a silver sword and various gifts symbolising the event were given to him. Kaakkum karangal, a home for destitute children and Asha Nivas Boys Shelter Home were the instant beneficiaries of the fan clubs’ initiatives towards noble gesture.
“My fans are spread through Twitter, Facebook and for that matter in all social forums, I wanted to assemble all of them in a single umbrella,” he said.
