The tiger named Vijay killed a student who accidentally fell into its enclosure at the National Zoological Park in New Delhi.
Footage shows that the beast mauled the youth in self-defence. People who witnessed the incident want Vijay killed. Reacting to this, Krishnan has asked the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, not to allow this.
She tweeted: “Please do not allow the sacrifice of the tiger of New Delhi Zoo, he did not attack, he was only defending himself.”
