The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

***

For the fan.

This compilation is for the fan of The Hunger Games films. If you watched the latest one, you will appreciate this more, as the music is used in the film. As usual with these kind of albums, the project is an all-star affair with the likes of Pusha T, Tinashe, Lorde, Major Lazor and Ariana Grande. Pusha T opens the album with Lorde, Q-Tip and Haim on the dance number Stromae. Lorde comes back solo on Yello Flicker Beat which is another infectious hit. The song returns as a Kanye West remix giving it another interesting feel.

Glaswegian band Chvrches come with Dead Air which is a sing-a-long track that’s reminiscent of Robyn’s work. if you like it, you might also like Tove Lo who also do justice to Scream My Name.

Executively produced by Lorde, you know what to expect. You’ll be playing this way after we have forgotten the movie.
