Ranjith, the film-maker who is directing the biggest superstar of the South Indian film industry, might have given away the official title of RAJINIKANTH’S next film.
In an interview, Ranjith, who has just two films under his belt, spoke about Ranjinikanth’s character in the film. According to him, the role which the star is playing will remind us of his own character from the 1978 classic, Mullum Malarum.
Putting the pieces of the puzzle together, Rajinikanth might reprise his character from Mullum Malarum. In fact, Ranjith told Rajinikanth that the character Kaali, played by the star in Mullum Malarum, is one of his favourites and it wasn’t a coincidence when Karthi’s character in Madras was named Kaali. Hence, Rajinikanth’s next film might be titled Kaali.
