Parineeti Chopra is gung-ho about her upcoming project Daawat-E-Ishq and is promoting the movie along with her co-star, Aditya Roy Kapoor.

The film is about love and food, but when the actress was asked if she is dating anybody, Parineeti said: “I don’t believe in dating or meeting someone just to see if they are perfect for me or not.”

So what is she looking for, was our next question and she replied: “I want true love and I will make time for my relationship because I am very serious about it.

“So much has been said about my relationships with my co-stars but all those rumours are rubbish. As of now I have been linked with Aditya, Arjun, Manish and next will be Ranveer Singh – just wait for Kill Dill to happen, after which I’ll be linked with him as well.”

The star seems tired of all the speculation regarding her love life.

On the other hand, Aditya says he is yet to discover love in real life: “I have been in a relationship which I thought was love, but it was not. I am still discovering love. Hopefully, I will meet the right person one day. But I am not looking for it actively. If it has to happen, it will.”

The buzz in B-Town is that he is dating his Aashiqui 2 co-star, Shraddha Kapoor. When asked about Shraddha, he said: “She is a very dear friend and that’s it.

“The media has written a lot about us and I believe that is part and parcel of being an actor,” he said, adding that he believed the media focused more on his personal life than his career.

Daawat-E-Ishq is directed by Habib Faisal. Aditya plays a cook named Tariq who is from Lucknow, while Parineeti plays a sales rep from Hyderabad.

Aditya says he had to prepare for his role: “The zone which I have entered is completely alien to me. I have never been to Lucknow and I can’t cook. The best I can do is make coffee, scrambled eggs and maggi! I completely went with his direction. My father is an excellent cook so I took a few chopping lessons from him which really came handy.”

Aditya will be seen in a new avatar in the film as he sports a crew cut and wears surma (eyeliner): “As an actor I feel one should use his look to trick people. My director… felt the audience needed to see a new character on screen.” – Oneindia.in
