Having been offered the female lead in Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan, Tamanna has been dropped from the project.
Tamanna had not had any Kollywood projects since she played the female lead in Veeram. Then, director Lingusamy, who worked with the actress in Paiyaa, offered her the lead in Rajini Murugan.
But, all that changed when the film crew started fishing for a new female lead and decided to cast Keerthi Suresh, daughter of Malayalam actress Menaka.
Tamanna said she was shocked. “Giving my dates to act alongside a budding actor like Sivakarthikeyan is in itself a big thing, but now, after having approached me for call sheets, the producers have opted for a new heroine,” she said.
According to a source, the production house chose a different actress, due to Tamanna’s low market value at the moment. – Oneindia.in
