After punting men’s skin lightening cream, superstar Shahrukh Khan will be seen endorsing a pan masala – for which he is reported to have been paid handsomely.
Since The National reported last year that a Women of Worth (Wow) petition called on Khan to put his star power behind the 'Beauty Beyond Colour' message, he has not accepted the group’s offer. This has not knocked Khan’s appeal, however, as another deal falls in his lap.
In the advertisement, he will play a man who has made it big on his own – and we all know this image suits King Khan well. He has become one of the most popular faces of the nation and the pan masala company has no problem paying him thousands to endorse their product.
Khan’s upcoming movie, Happy New Year, co-starring Deepika Padukone, is scheduled for release on October 23. – Oneindia.in
