It’s official, the Tamil hit film Mankatha, starring Ajith Kumar and Arjun Sarja, is being remade in Hindi.
Director Venkat Prabhu’s hit film will reach Bollywood as a remake four years after its release.
Studio Green has obtained the remake rights and the latest buzz is that SALMAN KHAN has been roped in for the lead role which was played by Ajith Kumar in the original.
If sources are to be believed, besides Khan, Akshay Kumar was considered for the remake version.
Ajith played the role of a cop in the original, a character which both Khan and Kumar have donned in many of their films. Rumours are rife that Randeep Hooda will take on the role of “action king”, Arjun Sarja.
Studio Green will produce this movie as their first Bollywood venture. – Oneindia.in
