The latest news in B Town is that Shahrukh Khan (SRK) gave the nod to Anurag Kashyap, who wants King Khan for his Alwyn Kalicharan.
Kashyap was kind of a black sheep to Bollywood mainstream until he married Kalki Koechlin.
His transformation since his marriage is so visible and, to everyone’s surprise, he is now best friends with Karan Johar, who he once always criticised.
Alwyn Kalicharan is not a tailor-made project for SRK. Kashyap is actually recycling an old script written back in 2003 with Anil Kapoor in mind.
Through the years, the dark and off-beat sensibility of Kashyap has gone through a transformation. Thus, the look and feel of the movie may be changed on a big scale.
